Food Pantry and Clothes Closet

The ministry of mercy to the poor is an imperative that the Lord Jesus has laid on his church. We seek to reflect his mercy in concrete ways through our monthly food pantry and through our clothes closet. The food pantry is open to residents of Limington on the second Saturday of each month, from 8:30-11. 

 

Please contact Valerie Blake @ (503) 708-5230 if you have any questions about the pantry and how it works.  No appointment is necessary but be prepared to wait until a cart is available. If you are new to the pantry, we will require some paperwork to be filled out. Please call ahead of time to let Valerie know you are coming.

Our goal remains to help families in emergencies by supplying them with up to one week’s worth of food (as well as household items) per month when they run low.

 

For clothes donations: We accept clothes for the current season only. For example, we are only taking winter clothes donations now. They must all be washed and folded prior to bringing them to the church. For more questions, please contact Ann at 207-637-2610.
